Augustine Bulteau
1860~1922. A French novelist and journalist. He wrote under the pen name of Femina for Gaulois and Le Figaro. She is also called Madame Bulteau.
Bulteau was a friend of Vernon Lee and she called him Toche. When she suffered from serious mental illness, Bulteau supported her. However, they split apart later. Bulteau wrote in a letter to Lee: "I know that you are a waif, a stray, that nothing very lasting, no regular family or friend, binds you to your country. ....Now I have read your article, remembering that I have touched your hand, I feel all my blood rush from my heart to my face.
